What is Anatomy & Physiology?

Anatomy is the science pertaining to the structure of the body's cells, tissues, organs and organisms and their relationship to one another.
Physiology is the science which deals with the study of the function of the cells, tissues, organs and organisms, involving the application of principles of physics and chemistry.

The Anatomy & Physiology Course takes place over 10 Saturday mornings spread over 10 weeks
The course modules are:

HEAL tutors are fully qualified with a teacher training certificate and an ITEC 3 in Anatomy & Physiology.
HEAL is the only accredited Holistic Therapy academy majoring in Kinesiology where you can also gain your Anatomy & Physiology ITEC 3 qualification.

To maintain your accreditation as a Holistic Therapist you are required to undertake Continuing Professional Development Modules and the HEAL Massage Course counts as one of these CPD modules.
An ITEC 3 qualification in Anatomy & Physiology is a prerequisite in order to become a fully qualified Kinesiology Practitioner and is also essential in order to practice other forms of Holistic Therapy.

The HEAL Anatomy abd Physiology ITEC 3 Course is taught over 10 Saturday mornings spread over 10 weeks.
